Brock Industries Inc. provides oil industry training at all levels. Workshops are available for in-house presentations and can be tailored specifically to client needs.

Technical Courses
Over the last five years, we have provided technical training courses in many locations worldwide for clients in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Britain, Germany, and the United States. Our courses are offered both independently and in collaboration with some of the industry’s leading training institutions such as PetroSkills, a number of regional business partners, and professional societies, including AAPG, CSPG/CWLS, IPA and, SPWLA.

“Wireline formation testing and interpretation” has been integrated into the Petrophysics/Formation curriculum and extended to the “Geology,” “Geophysics,” and “Reservoir Engineering” curricula by PetroSkills as part of the skill set training programs for oil and gas companies such as BP and Shell..

“Reserve Evaluation Using Reservoir Engineering Tools” is a five-day technical course specifically designed for reservoir engineers, reserve evaluators, and geoscientists who are actively engaged in evaluating and filing oil and gas reserves. The course uses case studies to teach professionals hands-on skills of how to use reservoir engineering tools to calibrate geological reserves and how to manage reserve reporting uncertainty.
